The exhibition 'Torn' shows paintings by Simon Schrikker and collages by Dana Slijboom. Although the artists use differents subjects and materials, the same motives can be discovered. For Schrikker as Slijboom, the influence and importance of key elements as context, reproduction and interpretation in our contemporary visual culture, forms a fundamental idea in their concepts.
